MatsGallery is an easy to use web gallery generator for Windows, designed for simplicity and efficiency. It takes care of all the aspects needed in creating a web gallery, it automatically resizes images, creates thumbnails, allows you to rotate images, preview the gallery, choose a theme, upload to your web server, and more.
There are no complicated configurations or installation. MatsGallery simply generates html files which it uploads to your web server. So no need for an SQL database or a server running PHP.
MatsGallery is simple enough to use for the computerly challenged, and powerful enough to satisfy advanced users. It's designed for those not wanting to spend much time creating a web gallery and who still want a professional well designed site !
No more wasting time reducing images and creating thumbnails. Imagine you just took some pictures with your digital camera and want to share them without too much hassle. All you need is five minutes once you've imported them onto your computer like you usually do. You just have to run Matsgallery, choose your album or create a new one, click on 'add images', rotate them if necessary, then click on 'Update changes to the Internet', and it's done. To share with family and friends you just need to send the link to your web gallery.
MatsGallery assumes that you already have access to a web server. You will need the name of your ftp host, login and password. For those of you who don't already have access to a web server, internet providers often offer a web space for free, you just have to ask them to activate it and give you the login parameters. Otherwise there are many web site providers on the net, and you just have to shop around.

The current version is a beta version, meaning for now it's free, and I encourage people to email me informing me of bugs they may find. Once I feel that it's stable I will release an official version where I will charge a small purchase fee, around 10 euros. I'll probably create some kind of limitation on the expired trial version to not completely deactivate it.
